Human rights

Our commitment to Human Rights

At Bolsius, we believe that respecting and promoting human rights is fundamental to being a responsible business. Guided by our mission to use our business as a force for good, we are committed to ensuring that our operations, supply chain, and partnerships uphold the dignity, safety, and wellbeing of all people connected to our work.

This commitment applies to all individuals and communities who may be affected by Bolsius’ activities, products, and business relationships across our value chain.

Respect for Human Rights

We commit to respecting all internationally recognized human rights and embedding this responsibility into our daily practices, decision-making, and long-term strategy.

Assessment of Human Rights Risks

We continuously assess the potential negative human rights impacts of our activities, products, and value chain. This includes proactively identifying, preventing, and mitigating risks across our operations and supplier network.

Remediation of Negative Impacts

When we identify that we have caused or contributed to adverse human rights impacts, we commit to taking timely and effective action to remediate them and prevent recurrence. We also engage openly with affected stakeholders where appropriate.

Alignment with International Standards

Our approach to human rights is grounded in globally recognized frameworks, including:

  • the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights;
  • the International Bill of Human Rights and the rights set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights;
  • the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, covering freedom of association, elimination of forced and child labour, and non-discrimination in employment.

The Bolsius Executive Team, led by the CEO, is accountable for implementing and monitoring this human rights commitment throughout Bolsius’ activities and business relationships.
