Powązki committee awards medal to Bolsius

The Powązki Cemetery holds deep significance for both Bolsius and the Polish community. Over the course of 50 years, the Social Committee for the Care of the Old Powązki Cemetery, named in honor of Jerzy Waldorff, has dedicated itself to the restoration of this historic necropolis. Bolsius has proudly supported this noble cause in recent years.

On March 18th, we were privileged to attend the gala commemorating the establishment of the Powązki Committee’s 50th anniversary. The event took place at the Gustaw Holoubek Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw.

In recognition of our company’s consistent and impactful support of the Powązki fundraiser, we were honored to receive a commemorative medal, specially struck by the Polish Mint. The award was presented to us by the Committee’s Chairman, Marcin Święcicki, and Katarzyna Budnicka, the President of the Management Board of the Polish Mint. Our representatives graciously accepted the medal on behalf of our company.

Throughout the ceremony, the renowned “Mazowsze” choir, led by maestro Jacek Boniecki, performed stirring renditions of beloved Polish songs and popular pieces from their repertoire.

We take immense pride in our involvement with this remarkable initiative and remain committed to supporting the preservation and enhancement of the Powązki Cemetery for future generations.
